Chain hoists are repaired to SANS 1640:2008 specifications.
Lever hoists are repaired to SANS 1637:2008 specifications.
We only make use of OEM supplied spares.
Each repair is controlled by our in-house job control sheets, making traceability easier.
All load testing for cranes and hoists are done according to the OHSA 85 of 1993 driven machinery act.
Load testing is done with solid weights, water bags as well as static.
Load cells used are calibrated annually and SANAS test certificates are available.
Engineer signed drawings of all custom fabrication undertaken are made standard.
Where applicable the relevant fabrication specifications (EN or SANS equivalent).
On completion of all work, load tests are done and LMI signed certificates are issued.
NDT weld crack tests are also done and certificates are issued.
